Kudos to Fiat for its brave efforts in providing a powerful heart to Grande Punto and redefining the performance diesel hatch segment. With the additional price of approx., 30 K to the Punto Emotion Pack, with Punto 90 HP (Rs6.79lakhs (ex-showroom delhi)), you get a more refined engine, quicker acceleration and minor goodies like the door chrome handles. What we feel is Fiat might have given more cosmetics to give the Sporty definition for Punto 90 HP, which otherwise boasts commendable performance. To all other car manufacturers, are you listening? Take this hint from Fiat and make a car with killer performance!
Over all I would say best in the class. A complete family car with best features. Supension is too good. Specially back seats with head rest on gives a great feeling. After making my wife drive me sitting at the back now thinking seriously to go for driver. Gives a goood feeling.
Thanks to our customer, Mahajan Rajesh who recently purchased Fiat Punto, for sharing this wonderful review about his new car
The boot space is luxurious for any small hatchback. it can pack an enormous 30″ suitcase or two 22″ suitcases comfortably and some bags. This makes it suitable for a family excursion of up to 10-15 days.
In a nushell, I find this car not only the most beautiful in this category, but also the best value for the money spent. when i compare it with other premium hatchbacks like Ritz, Swift, i20, UVa, Vista etc.
We Thank Carwale.com for such a wonderful review of Fiat Linea. Click on the link to read more
The Linea epitomises what a Fiat is and should be to us. It’s good looking, has good ride quality, packs in brilliant handling, is built like a rock and has a decently appointed interior with all the frills expected in the segment with the Emotion Pack Plus. Add to this equation a frugal pair of engines, and now better sales and service – there’s little wonder why we’ve been seeing so many Lineas (and Puntos) on the road. This does seem to be Fiat’s comeback car and this time around, with improved ownership experiences, there’s little stopping FIAL from becoming a household name once again.
If you’re in the market for a stylish, contemporary sedan which looks more expensive than it costs (especially with the alloys and chrome bits on the top-end variants) with a frugal engine, a perfect blend of ride and handling, and most importantly, if you’re passionate about cars, look no further than the Linea. There’s still some soul about Italian cars that makes them stand out from the competition.
