Fiat is fixing a target of 130000 cars by the period reaching 2014, which is likely to include the new B-segment car(coming out in 2102), two models of Grande Punto [images] and Linea (C segment). The move is to hike the share of Fiat to 5% by 2014 at 2.6 million cars and utility vehicles. In the meantime there will be a modification in Linea [images] in 2013 costing Rs4 lakhs, to be the key driver of the future auto industry in India. Fiat is in association with Tata Motors for acquiring facility usage in Ranjangaon. By making use of this facility, Fiat is likely to come out with 60000 cars by the end of 2010-11.
Over all I would say best in the class. A complete family car with best features. Supension is too good. Specially back seats with head rest on gives a great feeling. After making my wife drive me sitting at the back now thinking seriously to go for driver. Gives a goood feeling.
Thanks to our customer, Mahajan Rajesh who recently purchased Fiat Punto, for sharing this wonderful review about his new car
The boot space is luxurious for any small hatchback. it can pack an enormous 30″ suitcase or two 22″ suitcases comfortably and some bags. This makes it suitable for a family excursion of up to 10-15 days.
In a nushell, I find this car not only the most beautiful in this category, but also the best value for the money spent. when i compare it with other premium hatchbacks like Ritz, Swift, i20, UVa, Vista etc.
