Fiat is back
Your favourite car maker Fiat is back with a bang.
Yes, within few days of the launch, Fiat has sold 1512 units of Linea. Linea which already won many awards including the coveted UTVi-Autocar India “Car of the Year” and “Best MidSize Car” is now earning customers goodwill across India.
great!
congrats to FIAT.
but please launch linea withmore powerful engines and some other features like parking sensors, rain sensors, etc.
will someone tell me, when is 1.4 t-jet is coming to india. is it coming or not
when is 1.4 t-jet engine coming in linea india
It’s really good to know that Linea is doing well. I really wish it a lot of success. A beautiful car like the Linea does not come across so frequently.
Please launch the grande punto in April otherwise my dad will buy a hyundai i20.Can’t wait for it any longer. You should have launched GP before Linea. You are losing many buyers owing to your wrong sales strategy.
want to know when linea petrol is going to be available in a more powerful engine version.
Pl get the Linea in Ferrari Red. I want to buy it.
Cars look good , some loyalists like me buy them too but regret later due to service issues and unavailability of basic spares.
Happy to hear this… Congrats FIAT
Venkat
Palio D
It only takes one breakdown to realise the mistake made by buying FIAT Cars
congrats everybody at fiat india, it was on the day i got my palio the pune dealer had received the linea in his showroom. Its an beautiful car.
I am happy that FIAT is back with the a bang. I would also like to know about the launch of another eagerly awaited product from your Stables: Fiat Grande Punto. We are going to buy a car in April for around 6l. So it would be helpful if you guys provide me some information about the launch of your next vehicle!
ur price differ between emotion and emotion pack is 32000rs for petrol and 62000rs for diesel in pune why ? i can’t understand that u are already charging rs 1 lakh premium for diesel engine then why this additional durden on diesel buyers(u can say fiat lovers also) i am the owner of fiat siena elx 2002 mob 9822017631
its faboulous
Please launch Linea with 1.9 multijet.
when more colors of linea are coming pls tell very few choices of colors are there.
Fiat should have launched Grande Punto ahead of Linea .In India Always Hatchback cars are sold more than Sedans.By Sales team wrong decision,FIAT has lost lot of customers in this segment.
When I was visited TATA showroom for small car; Suddenly seen otherside beautiful car and people are eagerly watching. Then I went to test drive really admired the driving & quality product of FIAT i.e, LINEA. Then equired about any small car from FIAT. Heard about Grande Punto and launcing in march/april 2009. Then I have postponed my new small card puchchase and waiting for PUNTO. Kindly post me the further details and booking details time of launch price range etc.
Hey u guys at Fiat India,
Please launch Linea with a 1.4L 16V T Jet engine. and if you price it at Rs. 800000 also,i.e., 1 lac above the price of the current Linea it will be a sudden hit.. Its main competitor Honda City is still much more costlier.. honda will be revising their price in april.. the top model of honda city will cost more thn 9 lacs.. so plz bring in the more powerful more admirable than the present Linea… m waiting or i must say India is waiting..
Please launch the Face-lift version of Palio, that has been already launched in Brazil. The more the wait the more options that may drag my family away from fiat….
Hey,
Any news if Linea would be launching with bigger engines in future?
Fiat is really doing a magic in bangalore market, good sales team in bangalore continue with the same enthu
great. but fiat should open its service centre. and newspaper adds.
Coooooooooolllllllllll Man Congrats for new linea, and forthcoming Bravo. i simply admire Fiat.
Please launch Fiat Punto ASAP, as i am waiting for its launch for long time.
Booked Linea Dynamic Pack Diesel - Waswn Motors Mumbai. Should get it 1st week April. Wish they had Automatic also.
Wish them the best & hope they get it right thistime.
Congrats to Team Fiat. All I wish now is more cars and more dealerships in and around Mumbai.
An Italian car being built in India? As if Fiat reliability was not bad enough!
nice look; planng to testdrive soon
hey 3 cheers for fiat but this is still an initial stage , we need to see that sales dont go below 3ooo mark per month coz if it wont appear in city traffic people wont buy it and instead buy more expensive and cramped cars.
My dad says he will only buy if its sales competes its competitors
I think Fiat should consider having exclusive showrooms to avoid conversions to low cost products available under the same roof by sales reps. of Tata motors, to acheive thier sales targets.
I am waiting for grand punto. and hope it is loaded will all features available in linea except boot. and twin head lamps.
Hi,
I am planning to go for a high-end hatchback in May/June.
My obvious shortlists are the i20, Jazz(to be lauched in Jun) and the GP. (the preference in reverse order).
However, due to obvious reasons, I will not be in a position to delay my purchase any further.
Could you please confirm the lauch date for the Grande Punto?
Regards
I took delivery of my Linea today from Concorde motors. Its a fantastic feeling having the car. The most amzing thng about the car is the full frontal looks. Its amazing how well FIAT has desgined this car. Parked next to the likes of cars in the 15lacs plus range also the car, all eyes go towards the Linea……….brilliant
hay amit if you want a car go and buy some other car. Don’t wait for punto. This will have all features if it is launched. you have to wait log time to get it. eg. how they delayed Linea launch. I don’t believe these guys until and unless they launch vehicle.
I presently own a Palio 1.6 Stile & happy in all respects. Fiat makes good solid cars that are value for money. But that is all. Fiat needs to be lot, lot more aggressive in their marketing and add lot of hype & hoopla a la Hyundai. Indians go for the hype & not for the car.
What is the average sales figure of Linea per month? The diesel engine is adequate at 90bhp but petrol needs a lot more power. Why doesn’t Fiat launch the turbocharged version of the 1.4 litre engine
Why does the Palio not come with the Brazilian dashboard and refreshed looks and also ABS and Airbags.
linea is great still , people want my flame red palio the engine quality and interior still i didn’t see in any other competitior with same sagment.
Hi after owning UNO Diesel for 10 Years
Now I have decided to go for the lovely Linea Diesel Emotion Pack version with the only hope that I get a good service. I bet FIAT cars are one of the best vehicles in the world. But in India service is the only concern for the FIAT lovers. I hope they change this opinion. WISH FIAT and FIAT lovers a good luck and happy and safe motoring.
I think they will launch GP in May last week.
hey I am planning to change my car to the new Ritz from Maruti Suzuki. I would have loved to have the Grande Punto. Does anyone know the the launch date for GP. Thanks.
Fiat is just waking up but it should also realise the punto is long ovredue and they should get it sooner than later.
well i am very much setisfied with Linea emotion D.It is too fast that any car hardly can catch it.even I beat the Optra Magnum Crdi, once,.It has done 2000 Km, Milage 14.5 in city,17.5 on highway.
Fiat Came back with great enthu. go fiat with wonderful product. linea, punto, bravo…..etc
There have been rounds of the Grande Punto coming into India soon. Pls. make announcements soon, I do not wanna go for another option.
After driving Fiat 1.6., Punto is most awaited.
fiat is an very well known brand in automobile sector. There is no doubt that it is the most good looking, quality product. but now in India no one buys this product & rush for other brand. i have my own palio style. and i have also drived many cars in that segment. but the truth is fiat is the best. no other brand can give that same pleasure & comfor. I will request the company to take serious efforts to increase its sale.

I am waiting desparately, pls send details on the launch pls…..
Hi Fiat Team,
Congratulation everyone at FIAT. The car is awesome and the Black reminds me of ALFA ROMEO/MASERATTI. The car interior are superior and the build quality. The diesel is bit underpower but no issues on that. Thanks to 90 bhp multijet engine. The car is pretty comfortable and the handling too. Looking forward for a good service.
P.S.: Waiting for Grande Punto. GP can compete the Honda Jazz. Depends on your pricing.
I love that car! I went to take a Tata Indica Vista Quadrajet, and I saw a Linea. Now I have decided to wait for the Punto
dear fiat i was waiting for ur come back i want the emperor(of automobile industry) to be in india and i’m really thankful for u for again launching the products like my favourit Palio multijet n the admiration guaranteed Linea…….. I LOVE FIAT rule the indian roads keep rocking
Congrats to FIAT India for launching Grande Punto. It is a fantastic hatchback and anyone buying a hatchback should certainly take a test drive on PUNTO. I am fascinated by Linea though. I own a PALIO and would like to request FIAT India to think about providing a upgradation opportunity to its customers. It will be great if Fiat lovers across the country get an option of upgrading to Linea from Palio.
Hi do any one know when fiat punto 1.9 Diesel Turbo with JTD is being launched in india? it has around 100 BHP power with classic looks.
my first love is fiat always from my childhood till the mid of my life and it remains always in my soul. whenever i see fiat i take cool sigh of relief and proudly say FIAT IS BACK WITH BANG
I bought Fiat Grande Punto Petrol Emotion Pack on 20th July 2009 .This is our seventh car in last about 40 years .I dont have words to descibe this state of the art car.Ride qulity ,because of superb suspension was luxurios .Wheels response to power steering was excellent .Breaks with ABS with EBD is that what wass expected .BLAUPUNKT music system again is one of the best in car audio .On fuel consumption test conducted by qulity control engeenier ,I got 15 kms per litre ;car driven at a speed in between 80 and 90 kms/hr on high way ,half the distance run an A/C on .
I have always been a die hard fan of FIAT and for me, this brings tears of joy in my eyes. Fiat has always produced great cars, but has been unfortunate as these cars haven’t set the sales charts on fire. I wish Fiat all the best this time. I hope they have learnt from their mistakes and done their homework this time around. Linea is a b’ful and terrific car and will win many hearts.
Btw…When is Fiat gonna launch Alfa Romeo range in India. The Alfa Romeo range has some exciting cars that I believe have a future in india.
hey hiat iam a die hard fan of fiat .i want fiat to be alone and with seperate showrooms. i can guarantee u ur sales will increase .punto is fabulous, marvelous.
Have a look at new punto evo slated for sale in 2011. Congrats fiat on multiair petrol technology.
